Civil Science provided Construction Materials Sampling and Testing Services on behalf of Northern Improvement Company for airport roadway construction within the new Williston Basin International Airport in Williston, North Dakota. The project consisted of grading, geogrid, culverts, aggregate base and HMA paving. The site was previously undeveloped and is the first international airport built in the United States since Denver Airport which opened in 1995. Civil Science coordinated closely with dozens of adjacent projects and contractors working concurrently and at close proximity, with multiple design changes throughout final construction.
