Civil Science has been actively engaged in providing topographic and construction survey services, hydrological and hydraulic modeling, and civil site design services for oil and gas clients in the Williston Basin area of North Dakota.  While supporting clients with expansion plans to existing facilities, Civil Science provided initial topographic as-built survey to support site layout, surface and grading design, and hydraulic design to match existing oil and gas facilities.  Drainage modeling was completed utilizing AutoDesk SSA modeling software, and new drainage detention facilities were recommended based on output and County discharge requirements.  Culverts were designed to accommodate heavy truck traffic within the new facility.  An updated Hydrological Study was completed and submitted to County reviewers for acceptance and client permitting.  Civil Science is also completing construction staking and survey support during facility construction.
